ISLAND SAVINGS FAMILY SPORT & RECREATION FESTIVAL
Fun for the whole family! 11am – 3pm, Saturday, May 3. This FREE event is your pre-summer destination for introducing kids to new opportunities at the club and community level, and for parents to learn more about keeping their kids engaged in healthy activities.
Brought to you by the Greater Victoria Hall of Fame and PISE, the festival features more than 30 activities for kids and families to try out including Adrenaline Zipline (by donation), outdoor rock climbing, tennis, rugby, adapted sports, and so much more! There is no cost for organizations to participate, or for families to attend!
The primary purpose is to inspire families to be more active, and to encourage youngsters to be more physically literate by getting involved in sports and recreational activities. Donations made to ride the Adrenaline Zipline will help raise funds for the SportStart Grant. Please email Jackie Connelly at email@example.com for questions or more information.
SPORT STAR SUMMER CAMPS!
PISE Sport Star Camps are designed to provide your child with a fun, unique and dynamic camp experience! Our instructors focus on teaching fundamental movement skills that are involved in creating and maintaining physical literacy, as well as a healthy, active lifestyle. If that wasn’t enough, your child will also be introduced to many different sports, as well as building on skills in sports they already play in a barrier-free setting. For the older age groups, we offer sport specific camps. Our world class facilities offer your child an outstanding learning environment in which to flourish.
Take a look through our NEW 2014 Summer Program Guide! This guide contains all the information you need to give your child one of the best Summer Camp experiences they can have! Registration is OPEN, so register early in order to make sure you get a spot!
